A BRIEF OVERVIEW
Hi there, i am Guy Mearns, a producer and dj from the UK. I have been producing and djing for more than 10 years. My most notable work is under my Guyver alias, and my Guy Mearns alias.
I first signed with Tidy back in 2002 and worked soley as a hard dance outfit until around 2009 when i started venturing into the trance market. Sales wise i have amassed over 250,000 of singles, remixes and albums over the years. The track "Restless" which i co-produced and remixed along with JX was also used on "A Question Of Sport" for a number of episodes.
My productions have been supported by a wide range of djs, most notably Tiesto, who made my remix of Coldplay - The Scientist one to remember at the big festivals, and Armin, who mde my track "Sunbeam" his tune of the month on ASOT
I have dj-ed all over the world, including Spain, Holland, South Africa, Norway, Japan, Australia, New Zealand Canada and USA.
In 2009 i launched my production services Warm and Round, where budding producers could get help from me at a fixed price and build a brand of their own.
2012 will see the launch of my record labels under the Mearns Music label group. This will be an outlet for my prductions and a platform to introduce my other aliases and experiement with other genres.
